Mrs. Peoples currently has a Master Degree in Social Work; her undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Clinical Substance Abuse Supervisor Associate, and Roster with South and North Carolina, Trauma Focused CBT as well as a past Guardian Ad Litem volunteer for two and a half years. Mrs. Peoples is no stranger to youth at risk. For more than fifteen years, she has served as a counselor for youth with substance abuse and alcohol concerns; a counselor for youth in foster care and youth who have been incarcerated and/or about to be incarcerated; a foster care worker; director of after school programs; and has worked with Military Family Life as a Child and Youth Behaviorist.
Ms. currently possesses a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina; her undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Communications.She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is registered with the North Carolina Social Work Board. She also has over eight years of clinical training in outpatient therapy, care coordination, substance abuse with numerous training in trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Intellectually Disabled consumers, to name a few. She has also has served as a volunteer mentor and provides supervision for LCSW
